Brockville Dive Report 7 July – July 9, 2017

This weekend the weather is calling for rain on Friday and Saturday but sunny on Sunday. The water temperatures are coming up, with upper 60’s at the surface and on shallower dives.

Most of the operators have some spaces available on boats this weekend so call around to the operators if you are interested in going diving. Water levels are still quite high on the river and the dams are open to try and bring levels down. This is causing currents in the river to still be stronger than normal for this time of year.

Centeen Park has had some more upgrades this season so come out and dive to see the new statues and stairs that have been added. Be sure to get your Centeen Park tag at one of the local Brockville dive shops to help support this growing park. With purchase of the tag you will get a code to the washrooms at the park for 24 hour access.

The Buskers festival is on this weekend in Kingston so if you are in the area and not diving there is some good entertainment in downtown Kingston.
