How many ships are still missing on Lake Huron?

Join maritime historian Brendon Baillod for a deep dive into the ships that sank out in the Lake, but have never been found. Drawn for over 30 years of original research, Brendon combed through over 1000 wreck accounts to identify those that sank out in the Lake as opposed to hitting a reef or going ashore. He then removed all the wrecks in preserves and sanctuaries as well as those that have been discovered.

Brendon will discuss how Lake Huron differs from the other Lakes, why it saw so many wrecks and why so many of the Lake’s wrecks have already been located. Brendon will then give a detailed overview of the six largest and most highly sought wrecks still missing on Lake Huron, including the search grid for each.
