Pro Dive International – Mexico’s MSDT Instructor Javier Herrara has been recognized as an Ambassador of Cozumel by Jean-Michel Cousteau and the Cozumel Scuba Fest Committee.
Pro Dive International, one of the Caribbean’s most established PADI 5 Star Dive Resorts and recognized Career Development Centers proudly announce that one of their MSDT instructors based in Cozumel – Javier Herrera – has been recognized as an ambassador of Cozumel and the Scuba Fest for his excellent work, integration and support of Cozumel ́s diver community, by no other than Jacques Yves Cousteau ́s son Jean Michel & the Scuba Fest Committee.
The 4th edition of the annual Cozumel Scuba Fest(Dec 8-13th, 2015) was dedicated to advanced divers who could follow Jacques Cousteau’s journey on his visit to the island back in the 1960’s, and become an ambassador for the world ́s second largest barrier reef by completing a route of nine reefs during four consecutive days of this six-day event, to receive the official logbook signed by his son Jean Michel Cousteau, become a “Friend of the Reef” and member of the diver network recognized by the Ocean Futures Society.
