Travel Meet Asia (TMA) 2026 is set to return to Jakarta on 23–24 June 2026, bringing together tourism professionals, hospitality brands, destination representatives and travel industry leaders from across Southeast Asia and beyond.
The event, organised by Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, will once again take place at Swissôtel Jakarta PIK Avenue and is expected to attract more than 1,500 participants, including over 400 buyers, 100 exhibitors and 60 speakers.
Positioned as one of Southeast Asia’s growing travel trade marketplaces, Travel Meet Asia focuses on connecting businesses across the MICE, corporate travel and leisure tourism sectors while also providing a platform for regional tourism discussions and industry networking.
A major highlight for 2026 will be the participation of Brunei as the event’s Official Partner Country, coinciding with the launch of the country’s Visit Brunei 2027 tourism campaign.
According to organisers, Brunei plans to use the event to showcase its mix of rainforest experiences, biodiversity, cultural heritage and hospitality offerings as it seeks to strengthen its international tourism profile.
Darren Seah, Executive Director of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, said Travel Meet Asia has evolved into an important platform for business exchange and tourism dialogue within Southeast Asia.
He added that hosting the event again in Jakarta highlights Indonesia’s growing importance as a regional tourism and business hub, while Brunei’s involvement adds another dimension to the show’s regional focus.
Representatives from Brunei’s tourism sector described the partnership as an opportunity to build momentum ahead of Visit Brunei Year 2027 and to introduce more travel buyers and industry professionals to the country’s tourism experiences.
The event also continues its collaboration with ASITA, the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies, following a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s tourism and MICE industries.
Travel Meet Asia 2026 is expected to feature a 20 percent increase in exhibition space compared to the previous edition, reflecting continued demand from travel and hospitality businesses across the region.
Confirmed exhibitors include major hospitality and tourism brands such as Accor, Trip.com and destination representatives from several international markets.
The conference programme will run alongside the exhibition, covering topics including destination marketing, hospitality trends, travel technology, transportation, MICE travel and market developments across Southeast Asia.
Speakers confirmed for the event include representatives from BWH Hotel Group, Opsigo, Trip.com, TruTrip and Genus Group.
