Registration for the 2026 edition of DEMA Show is now officially open, with the global dive industry preparing to return to New Orleans from November 3–6, 2026.
Widely regarded as the largest trade-only event in the scuba diving and dive travel sector, DEMA Show 2026 will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and marks a significant milestone for the event as it celebrates 50 years of connecting the international diving industry. According to the official event website, the show is expected to feature more than 500 exhibitors, over 250 educational offerings, and attendees from more than 60 countries.
Produced annually by DEMA, the event brings together dive equipment manufacturers, training agencies, liveaboard operators, tourism boards, retailers, instructors, travel specialists, underwater photographers, and water sports businesses under one roof. Organisers position the show as a key platform for discovering new products, strengthening partnerships, and shaping the future direction of the dive industry.
The opening of registration comes at an important time for the diving sector. Over recent years, the industry has continued adapting to changing travel trends, growing interest in experiential tourism, and increased consumer demand for marine conservation-focused travel experiences. Trade events such as DEMA Show remain one of the few opportunities where the industry can meet face-to-face at scale, particularly for businesses focused on international dive tourism and retail growth.
The 2026 event will also continue DEMA’s strong focus on education and professional development. Organisers have already issued calls for speakers and educational content aimed at helping businesses navigate topics including leadership, marketing, technology, business strategy, and industry trends.
For dive travel operators and destination representatives, the New Orleans location may also provide fresh opportunities to attract North American buyers and consumers. The city previously hosted DEMA Show in 2023 and remains a popular venue due to its convention infrastructure, accessibility, and hospitality sector.
The show’s long-term schedule is already mapped out several years ahead, with future events alternating between New Orleans, Orlando, and Las Vegas through at least 2031.
Industry professionals planning to attend are encouraged to register early and secure accommodation in advance as hotel inventory near major convention events can fill quickly. Additional information, exhibitor details, and registration access are available through the official DEMA Show website
