Woman Dies While Diving off Pohang Coast, South Korea

A woman in her forties has died while scuba diving off the coast of Pohang, South Korea. According to reports from SBS News and Hankyoreh, the diver was found unresponsive near Cheongjin-ri, Cheongha-myeon, on Saturday evening.

An angler noticed the diver’s underwater light stop moving and alerted others nearby. Emergency services recovered her and transported her to hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, with both police and the Korea Coast Guard involved.
