“”In an effort to push myself exploring new bodies of water, instead of the Sackville River, Halifax Harbour and Prospect, I’m challenging myself to explore areas I’ve never been. I’ll be making 10 of these episodes and see what I find.“”

Lake Loon is a suburban and rural community in the Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia, Canada. It takes its name from a nearby lake. The Civic Address office of the Halifax Regional Municipality established the community in April 2011 by taking a portion of the nearby community of Westphal.

West Loon Lake, Nova Scotia is a small cottage and recreational community in rural Halifax Regional Municipality Nova Scotia, located in the municipality’s northeastern corner, bordering the counties of Pictou and Colchester, as well as the Municipal District of Saint Mary’s at Trafalgar. The majority of the homes are cottages along Loon Lake, which gives the community its name. The community is located on St. Mary’s Rd, between Routes 336 and 374.
