Applications for scholarships and training grants for 2018 from the non-profit Women Divers Hall of Fame are now closed. This organization honours and raises awareness of the contributions of outstanding women divers. It provides educational, mentorship, financial, and career opportunities to the diving community throughout the world.
Marine conservation, marine biology, underwater archaeology, education (marine or freshwater), dive instructor education, and dive medicine are eligible for scholarships. They support independent research and/or internship programs. but not for living expenses or student loans. Training grants provide funding for diving and related underwater training.
Here are the details of applying for 2019:
* Each year you can only apply for one scholarship or training grant. However, if your application is not chosen and if you are qualified for another grant you are eligible to apply.
* All applications require two letters of recommendation that must be submitted directly by the person who recommends you, and not by the applicant.
* Applicants MUST complete the online application form.
