Introducing Divers Den, Tobermory

Tobermory is a small community located at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula in the municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, approximately 300 kilometres (190 miles) northwest of Toronto, the capital of Ontario.

Known for the  MS Chi-Cheemaun, the passenger-car ferry that connects Tobermory to Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron, Tobermory is also the northern terminus of the Bruce Trail, and has twin harbours, known locally as “Big Tub” and “Little Tub”. Big Tub Harbour is Canada’s largest natural freshwater harbor.

Sea to Sky

The community is known as the “fresh water SCUBA diving capital of the world”.

The deep waters at the mouth of Georgian Bay are home to Fathom Five, Canada’s first National Marine Conservation Area. The park preserves a rich cultural legacy that includes 22 shipwrecks and several historic lighthouses. Fathom Five’s freshwater ecosystem contains some of the most pristine waters of the Great Lakes. The rugged islands of the park are a reminder of the impressive lake-bed topography found beneath the waves.

Divers DenTobermory is also home to DIVERS DEN, which has five Transport Canada certified passenger vessels that are available for private half day and full day dive/snorkeling charters.

As well as providing dive and snorkel tours, Divers Den offers  a full line of quality rental gear, excellent package deals, tank fill-ups, Dive masters on all of our afternoon open water charters, a cottage rental, buddy forum and PADI core diving courses.
