A fire has destroyed the Red Sea liveaboard Golden Dolphin 3 after breaking out in the early hours of 21st January off Hurghada.
According to information circulating within the regional diving community, the fire started at around 3am and spread rapidly through the vessel. The blaze continued into the morning, with the boat ultimately considered a total loss.
Crucially, there were no guests on board at the time of the incident and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
As of now, no official statement has been issued by local authorities, and further details are expected once investigations are completed. The Scuba News will update this report if and when additional verified information becomes available.
