The 18th edition of ITB Asia 2025 opened today at Singapore’s Sands Expo and Convention Centre, marking its biggest event to date. Running from 15 to 17 October, the show spans five exhibition halls for the first time, a major expansion that reflects Asia’s growing influence in the global travel industry.
Organised by Messe Berlin (Asia Pacific), this year’s event features over 1,500 top buyers, a 7% increase from 2024, alongside the most diverse exhibitor line-up in its history. The show highlights stronger participation from Central Asia, record representation from Africa, and new exhibitors from India, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Resorts World Sentosa joins as the Official Integrated Resort Partner, hosting premium networking sessions that blend world-class hospitality with immersive attractions.
New for 2025, the Experience & Attractions Highlight Zone showcases leading brands including Disney Cruise Line, Universal Destinations & Experiences, and Mandai Wildlife Reserve, bringing to life the future of destination experiences and entertainment.
Opening the ceremony, Singapore’s Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Alvin Tan, commended the show’s contribution to strengthening Asia-Pacific’s role in shaping global tourism. David Ruetz, Senior Vice President of Messe Berlin, added that the record turnout reflects “the dynamism of the global travel industry and the increasing importance of Asia-Pacific.”
The accompanying ITB Asia Conference 2025, themed “Future Forward: Transforming Travel & Tourism in a Changing World,” features more than 160 speakers from industry leaders including Tripadvisor, Frasers Hospitality, and Tourism Economics. Topics span MICE innovation, sustainability, and travel technology trends driving the next decade of tourism growth.
