SCORKL have now announced the launch of ‘SCORKL 2.0 – Electric’, featuring an all-new SCORKL Electric Compressor and SCORKL Battery Pack, enabling automatic refills of the brand’s portable underwater breathing apparatus, at the touch of a button.
Available for pre-order via product launch platform Kickstarter, ‘SCORKL 2.0 – Electric’ is SCORKL’s first new release since their original James Bond-esque underwater breathing technology first launched in 2017, selling to over 65 countries worldwide, and receiving USD$2m in pre-orders.
After almost two years of research and development, the SCORKL Electric Compressor and SCORKL Battery Pack have been designed to offer automatic, easy refills of the SCORKL device, in a matter of minutes.
“Traditional SCUBA air compressors are prohibitively heavy and expensive, meaning they can only be stored and operated in dive stores or in a garage. The SCORKL Electric Compressor, in stark contrast, is lightweight, inexpensive and portable. Not only can you plug it into the wall, but you can power it from a boat or car battery as well,” explained SCORKL creator and founder, David Hallamore.
