Plastic Free July® is a global initiative that encourages millions of people to join in the fight against plastic pollution, resulting in cleaner streets, oceans, and communities. Will you participate in Plastic Free July by refusing single-use plastics?

Mission

Plastic Free July offers tools and ideas to assist you (and millions of people across the world) in reducing single-use plastic trash at home, work, school, and even at your neighborhood café.

In 177 countries, our movement has inspired an estimated 326 million people. Making a tiny change will have a huge impact on our communities if we all do our part. In July (and beyond), you have the option of refusing single-use plastics. Best of all, participating in Plastic Free July will assist you in discovering excellent alternatives that might become lifelong habits.

Think about it. Why would you make something that you’re going to use for a few minutes out of a material that’s basically going to last forever, and you’re just going to throw it away. What’s up with that?
