Prepare for a thrilling new shark movie, “The Last Breath,” where survival is the ultimate challenge. Get ready to dive deep, hold your breath, and swim for your life as a team of divers faces danger beneath the waves in “The Last Breath.”
This suspenseful film stars Julian Sands (A Room with a View) in his final performance, along with Jack Parr (Peaky Blinders), Kim Spearman (As I Am), and Alexander Arnold (Yesterday). The movie was filmed in late 2022, just before Sands went missing during a hiking trip in California, with his remains being found on Mount Baldy in June.
In this gripping story, a group of former college friends reunite for a scuba diving trip in the Caribbean to explore the remains of a WWII battleship. They soon find themselves trapped in a treacherous underwater maze, surrounded by great white sharks. Set for an early 2024 release by Signature Entertainment, “The Last Breath” is expected to be Sands’ final film. Known for his roles in movies like The Killing Fields and Leaving Las Vegas, as well as TV series like 24 and Smallville, Sands plays Levi, an experienced diver who mentors the younger divers. Levi is described as a “gruff, rugged bear of a man who is both kind and generous.”
