This is the last weekend in August and summer is coming to a close. Two more weekends until school returns, but there lots more dive weekends coming up this fall.

Temperatures have cooled down, and we are looking at a beautiful weekend, this weekend, in the Thousand Islands Region. Sunny skies for the whole weekend with temperatures around 22C degrees.

Lots of diving to be had this weekend, and there are stll some spots available on boats, although things have definitely been busier this month.

Visibility is acceptable in the river right now, around 15-20 feet. That is pretty good for this time of the season. Water temp is hovering around 70 degrees, which is comfortable for some longer dives, exploring wrecks.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and if you are diving, be safe and enjoy.

Next week is the last long weekend of the summer, 3 days of diving coming up.
