This stunning timelapse film – made by the team at Blohm + Voss, the German engineering company that “keeps ships in shape” – shows its transformation into the “Balmoral”, named after Her Majesty’s Scottish estate.
The section added to the ship – 30 metres in length – provided enough space for 139 new cabins, making it the largest owned by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, with an on-board fitness centre, pub and observatory lounge.
