Beluga whale dies at SeaWorld San Antonio

KSat.com is reporting that officials at SeaWorld San Antonio had confirmed that “Bella” the beluga whale died Sunday.

From what I have found out, it appears that the Beluga whale was only 4 years old. If you are a regular reader of The Scuba News you will know that I am trying to give as much coverage as I can to the plight of whales and dolphins in captivity and this just highlights the point that these beautiful creatures should be in the wild and not in tanks for the entertainment of others.
