Aggressor Adventures has completed a substantial redesign of the Red Sea Aggressor II, expanding the northern Red Sea liveaboard from 11 to 13 staterooms and increasing its maximum guest capacity from 22 to 26 divers.
The project includes renovations across both the interior and exterior guest areas as well as a significant reconfiguration of the yacht’s accommodation.
According to Aggressor Adventures, two new Master Staterooms, Cabins 12 and 13, have been created on the upper deck. Two existing Deluxe cabins have also been converted into Master accommodation.
That takes the total number of Master Staterooms aboard the vessel from two to six.
More Space Devoted to Premium Accommodation
The changes represent more than a cosmetic refurbishment.
While the overall capacity increase of four guests is relatively modest, the move from two to six Master Staterooms substantially changes the accommodation mix aboard the vessel.
Aggressor says each Master Stateroom includes a picture window, private bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, bathrobes, hairdryer, fresh towels and a 32-inch television, along with access to a library of more than 400 films.
Indoor lounges and outdoor areas have also been refreshed as part of the project, with Aggressor describing the new appearance as more contemporary while retaining the vessel’s established operational role.
Jay Roberts, CEO of Aggressor Adventures, said the objective had been to improve both the onboard layout and guest experience while retaining the service model associated with the company’s Red Sea operation.
Continuing in the Northern Red Sea
The redesign does not represent a change in operating area for Red Sea Aggressor II.
The yacht continues to serve northern Red Sea itineraries from Hurghada, with Aggressor’s published itineraries providing access to reefs and wrecks including the SS Thistlegorm, Ras Mohamed National Park and the Straits of Tiran.
The vessel has remained active throughout 2026, with Aggressor’s published adventure logs documenting regular departures during the year.

Part of Wider Red Sea Investment
The work on Red Sea Aggressor II comes during a period of wider investment in Aggressor’s Egyptian liveaboard fleet.
Earlier in 2026, the company introduced a larger vessel into service as Red Sea Aggressor IV, while its Egyptian portfolio also includes Red Sea Aggressor V serving deeper southern itineraries.
For Red Sea Aggressor II, however, the latest project is focused firmly on the existing northern operation: increasing capacity while substantially expanding the number of premium cabins available to guests.
With four additional berths and four more Master Staterooms than its previous configuration, the redesigned vessel gives Aggressor greater capacity on one of its established Egyptian routes without fundamentally changing the liveaboard’s role in the fleet.
