    Every minute, the equivalent of a garbage truck’s worth of plastic enters the ocean, amounting to a staggering 8 million tons of plastic every year. And it isn’t slowing down – on the contrary.

    Between now and 2050, FOUR TIMES MORE plastic will be produced than in all of human history, and much of it is destined to end up in the ocean.

    This isn’t a problem confined to distant shores or developing countries.
