A routine dive trip has turned into a race against time off Malaysia’s east coast, after a 66-year-old diver was reported missing in the waters of Pulau Tenggol.
According to a report in The Star, the diver, identified as Tam Peng Hoong, disappeared during a dive on Saturday afternoon while accompanied by his son. The incident has prompted an immediate search and rescue response involving Malaysian maritime authorities.
