Further confirmation from FOX 13 Tampa Bay reports that the operation was led by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, with marine units deployed to search offshore areas adjacent to Manasota Beach. The diver’s body was later located and recovered, and the individual was pronounced dead following the recovery.
