The WhyCoexist 2025 Competition has found its winner – and from a record-breaking number of powerful global entries, Daisy from the UK took the top spot.
Her prize? An unforgettable eight-day expedition to the Seychelles, exploring vibrant coral reefs, encountering incredible marine life, and joining world-class marine scientists in their conservation work.
Daisy and her partner, Seb, immersed themselves in this near-pristine environment both above and below the surface. From Seb completing his Open Water course under the guidance of expert instructors, to learning first-hand about groundbreaking marine research, their journey captured the spirit of coexistence with our oceans.
Reflecting on the experience, Daisy described the trip as “unlike anything I could have ever imagined or dreamed of,” adding that every dive felt like “stepping into a new world.”
This year, Daisy also worked with WhyCoexist to script and narrate a powerful video sharing her personal perspective on the importance of living in harmony with the ocean.
