The DEEPSEA CHALLENGER and pilot sphere with the exhibit will be displayed for the first time in North America at the Edmonton Science Centre. Immerse yourself in an underwater world in this exhibition tracing explorer and filmmaker James Cameron’s passion for deep ocean science, technology, and exploration, including footage from his world-record-breaking dive to the planet’s core in the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER, the submersible he co-designed and co-engineered.

The show uses cinema-scale projections, artefacts, and specimens from his trips to immerse you in an underwater atmosphere. Discover the Titanic and the German warship Bismarck sinks in this stunning and mysterious abyss. See relics from the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER’s design and construction, which was built to endure 16,000 pounds per square inch of water pressure.
