Chanelle Zaphiropoulos got her start in underwater archaeology with the Shipwreck Preservation Society while completing her BA in archaeology at Memorial University. She is now pursuing her passion and is working on a Master’s Degree in Maritime Archaeology at the University of Malta.
Chanelle will take us on a tour of the underwater shipwrecks and plane wrecks around Malta. The wrecks span thousands of years from the Phoenicians to World War II. This presentation will be the next best thing to diving there.
