World Ocean’s Day Online Auction to support shark conservation

Shark Angels, a U.S. based non-profit, is thrilled to launch their World Ocean’s Day online auction (www.charitybuzz.com/sharkangels) on May 21- June 5 via Charity Buzz, one of the world’s leading auction platforms. You will be able to bid on scuba diving trips around the world including destinations like the Caribbean, Micronesia, Indonesia, Egypt and Colombia, plus a fantastic underwater camera system, sports tickets and more.

Score a great deal on a dive vacation while helping the Shark Angels continue their work to save sharks around the world.  Shark Angels changes peoples perception that sharks are not man eating monsters but rather they are important and vital to our oceans. Shark Angels raises awareness to the critical issues, educates children, empowers and connects  advocates to act locally to save sharks. Shark Angels employs grassroots outreach, creative media, and education campaigns aimed at inspiring a global movement to save sharks – and the ecosystems they keep healthy. Jamie’s background is in advertising, client management and graphic design. For twenty years, she worked in the business world, gaining valuable experience building brands and creating marketing strategies for her clients. She designed and developed 360 degree marketing campaigns producing targeted, functional and brand specific websites, online media, print and marketing collateral materials, direct mail, corporate identity and advertising. Her clients included banking, insurance, cable & telecomm, real estate, health, travel, luxury, retail and conservation. When the 2008 recession hit the advertising world, she decided to pursue another path.
