These photographs show a recently captured Whale Shark in Rizhao, Shandong Province, China which was around 10m long and approximately 10,000kg. Obviously for any of us who love the oceans, catching a whale shark is something terrible to begin with but I say that education goes a long way because the fishermen in question photographed this beautiful (but dead) creature to remind others of how many dangerous “beasts” occupy our oceans!
