Patrick is the co-founder and director of sea operations at Adventure Cook Islands, a PADI, SSI and TDI/SDI dive centre located on Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. Patrick started diving in his teens in German lakes. He has been working in the dive industry since he was 19 years old and has lived in different countries throughout the Caribbean, in South-East Asia, the Mediterranean Sea and Micronesia. He moved to Rarotonga in 2004. Apart for diving, Patrick is also a remotely operated vehicle pilot and technician and has worked in the offshore industry in the North Sea and the South China Sea.
