2026 has already seen half a dozen world records fall. From 30 September, the sport’s best meet in Limassol to push their limits across four disciplines – and compete for world champion titles.
The season has been building to this. From 27 September to 10 October, Limassol, Cyprus, hosts the World Apnea 2026 Depth Championships, and the entry list already runs to 178 athletes from 55 countries – the largest depth field the sport has seen.

- Constant Weight No Fins (CNF)
- Constant Weight Bi-Fins (CWTB)
- Free Immersion (FIM)
- Constant Weight (CWT)
Among those entered are the athletes behind this year’s depth World Records: Nataliia Zharkova, Zsófia Törőcsik, Enchante Gallardo, Petar Klovar and Alexey Molchanov.
