2026 is off to an exciting start for Julie Ouimet. She is overjoyed and deeply honored to announce that, for the second time, she has been invited to represent the Explorers Club as a guest speaker aboard a PONANT ship, joining a distinguished lineup of EC speakers. On February 2, 2026, Julie will set sail on the Bougainville, exploring the stunning waters of the Indian Ocean. Her journey will include stops at the iconic islands and atolls of the Seychelles, including the remarkable Aldabra, and will conclude in Zanzibar. This adventure will offer her the chance to experience three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and she is absolutely thrilled for the incredible opportunities that lie ahead!
About Julie Ouimet
Fellow of the Explorers Club (FI’16) and Associate Member of the Boston Sea Rovers, Co-owner of N2Pix, Julie Ouimet has been leading expeditions for several years.
She is a guest speaker in Canada and the United States. Julie writes articles and is a regular contributors with En Profondeur dive magazine and her short films have been screened and won awards in festivals throughout Europe and the United States.
Aside from expeditions, N2Pix focuses on providing marketing tools for the dive and travel industries. Corporate videos, photography, graphic design and website designing are some of the services that are offered.
Julie previously owned an award-winning PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center in Quebec. She is a rebreather diver, certified IANTD Trimix diver and Technical supervisor, PADI Assistant-Instructor, DAN and EFR Instructor. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a degree in Public Relations/Marketing.
