CHAA’s Dive Recovery Team – Search Operations Overview Course

The Dive Recovery Team will be holding a Search Operations Overview Course on Saturday, November 29, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Welcome Centre, Tillsonburg Airport.

This introductory course will provide a general overview of what it takes to conduct underwater searches for aircraft, ships, and other objects. Topics will include:

- Research and planning methods
- Calculating and defining search areas
- Technology, tools, and equipment
- Safety considerations
- Upcoming specialized courses that will explore each topic in greater detail
