On Wednesday, July 16, we’re thrilled to welcome world-renowned cave diver, filmmaker, and Honorary Riverkeeper Jill Heinerth, alongside Canadian Museum of Nature research scientists Dr. Katriina Ilves and Dr. Andre Martel, for an evening uncovering the surprising life of freshwater mussels hidden in Canada’s largest underwater cave system — right here in the Ottawa River watershed.
This is the next event in our Current Conversations summer series, hosted at the NCC River House. Every other Wednesday evening, Current Conversations brings together experts, artists, and community voices to spark dialogue about how we connect with the river. Light refreshments are included.
