It’s back! The Maritime Museum of BC along with sponsor Capital Iron is excited to announce that it will hold its 17th annual Massive Marine Garage Sale on Sunday, October 17, 2021, in the back lot of Capital Iron, 1900 Store St.
This popular annual event returns at last for buyers and sellers–and anyone who loves boating, fishing and outdoor sports! Bringing together marine vendors from all over Vancouver Island, the Museum expects a great turnout for dozens of vendors setting up outdoors in the back lot at Capitol Iron. Buyers can expect anything and everything in, around, outside, or related to boats.
All proceeds support the Maritime Museum of BC, to continue operations and help with the running of school and public programs. Coffee, hot chocolate, and pastries will be available by donation, and a hot dog vendor will be onsite. A 50/50 raffle will also be held, with two draws.
“Since the pandemic hit in early 2020, The Maritime Museum of BC has missed two of our regular spring Sales,” said Anya Baker, the Events and Development Coordinator at the Museum. “This special fall Sale, held for the first time on the waterfront with our sponsor Capital Iron, is also our first big event of the year. We can’t wait to see everyone!”
