Women Divers Hall Of Fame To Induct Julie Ouimet, A Canadian

The Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF) announced this week that it would induct nine new members this year to its list of impressive Women Divers, including Canadian Julie Quimet.

Julie Quimet lives in Quebec. and is a certified IANTD Trimix diver and Technical supervisor, PADI Assistant-Instructor, DAN and EFR Instructor. Julie is a member of the Ocean Artists Society, a prestigious society of underwater imagery for the protection of the oceans.Women Divers Hall of Fame

Julie previously was a practising attorney for eight years and the previous 5 years before that was a marketing director before choosing the ocean. She is an expedition videographer who has developed skills for filming in remote locations and harsh conditions. She has filmed and produced over 30 short films screened and honoured in film festivals throughout Europe and North-America.

Julie and Micheal Labrecque, owners of N2PIX have been leading expeditions for several years. They have travelled to the four corners of the globe to dive and gather images and have twice carried the Explorers Club Flag. Their passion for sharks has brought them to far and remote places and allowed them to take part in exclusive expeditions along with industry top names.
