Shark Angels 2016 Holiday Auction Will Launch November 28th

Shark Angels, a 501 c 3 charity, is thrilled to launch their Holiday Auction via Bidding for Good (www.biddingforgood.com/sharkangels) November 28. Items up for bid, through December 19th, include incredible SCUBA diving expeditions around the globe, beautiful artwork, and merchandise.

By bidding on these amazing auction items, you’ll fuel critical campaigns and play a vital role in protecting not just a threatened species, but also the oceans. Shark Angels employs grassroots outreach, creative media, and education campaigns aimed at inspiring a global movement to save sharks – and the ecosystems they keep healthy. And it’s working. For over eight years, Shark Angels has been involved in some of the most well-known and highest impact ocean conservation programs around the world.

“We’ve been thrilled with the support from our donors and are very excited about this auction via a new website,” says executive director, Jamie Pollack. “We are guardian angels to sharks – and give a voice to these truly magnificent animals”. Ms. Pollack hopes the auction will earn enough to fuel Shark Angels’ innovative education and advocacy programs to protect sharks, the ocean’s apex species.  “Sharks are very important to the health of our oceans and healthy oceans are important for the well being of our planet.”

Jamie’s background is in advertising, client management and graphic design. For twenty years, she worked in the business world, gaining valuable experience building brands and creating marketing strategies for her clients. She designed and developed 360 degree marketing campaigns producing targeted, functional and brand specific websites, online media, print and marketing collateral materials, direct mail, corporate identity and advertising. Her clients included banking, insurance, cable & telecomm, real estate, health, travel, luxury, retail and conservation.
