Using local contacts and hidden cameras FINdonesia will highlight the fishing methods and offer a “live view” perspective of the harvesting of shark fins straight from the boats and shores of Indonesia. Other iconic marine life are targeted in these fisheries as well, including manta rays for their gill rakers and this film intends to show everything this fishing practice affects.

The footage is guaranteed to be graphic, and to some, disturbing while depicting how a legal industry is being exploited to supply an international demand for a local resource.
