    Almonda, Saudi Arabia

The Red Sea has long been a bucket-list destination for divers, but now, an exclusive liveaboard experience is taking underwater adventures in Saudi Arabia to the next level. The Almonda, a luxurious 40-meter (131-foot) vessel, offers divers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exploration in one of the world’s most stunning marine environments.

    A Home at Sea

The Almonda is designed to accommodate up to 24 guests in 12 elegantly appointed staterooms. Whether you prefer the indulgence of a master stateroom with a queen bed, the practicality of a deluxe stateroom with twin beds, or the coziness of a double cabin, each room is independently air-conditioned and features a private bathroom, shower, and a porthole window to take in the sea views. Divers can unwind after a day of underwater exploration by watching their choice of 400 movies, TV shows, or documentaries on the 32-inch TV in each stateroom. For those looking to edit their underwater footage, the TV screen can also be connected to personal devices.

    Unparalleled Comfort and Entertainment

Above deck, the Almonda offers plenty of space to relax and socialize. Two sundecks—one partially shaded—provide the perfect setting for soaking in the stunning views of the Red Sea, while a hot tub offers a soothing retreat after an exhilarating day of diving. Guests can also gather in the spacious air-conditioned salon on the sundeck, complete with a 50-inch flatscreen TV, or enjoy a refreshing beverage at the well-stocked bar.

Dining on board is a highlight of the Almonda experience. The expansive restaurant and bar on the main deck serve delicious meals, snacks, and a variety of beverages throughout the day. In the evenings, guests can participate in engaging entertainment, including diving and marine life presentations, games, and movie nights. The onboard library also offers books for exchange, including specialized fish identification guides to enhance the diving experience.

Diving in the Red Sea with Almonda

The Almonda is fully equipped for divers of all experience levels. Each diver is provided with their own equipment box, ensuring organization and easy access. Certified Nitrox divers can take advantage of onboard Nitrox fills, extending bottom time and maximizing their exploration of Saudi Arabia’s rich dive sites. The spacious diving platform makes gearing up seamless, and for more distant dive sites, two Zodiacs are available for quick and easy transport.

The Red Sea is renowned for its vibrant coral reefs, mesmerizing wrecks, and abundant marine life, from schools of colorful reef fish to larger pelagics like sharks and rays. Saudi Arabia’s lesser-explored dive sites promise pristine underwater landscapes, offering an unforgettable experience for even the most seasoned divers.
