Lifelong Learning Global Discovery: An Evening With Jill Heinerth
January 11
![Evening with Jill Heinerth](https://www.thescubanews.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Evening-with-Jill-Heinerth-December-18-2023-1.jpg)
What’s it like to cave dive within crystalline icebergs or among colorful coral reefs? As part of Lifelong Learning Global Discovery, immerse yourself in the life of Jill Heinerth, one of the world’s premier underwater explorers, as she guides us through her more than 30 years of experience as a cave diver, photographer, filmmaker and author. In more than 7,000 underwater dives traversing extreme conditions, learn how Jill has collaborated with biologists to discover new species, physicists to track climate change and scientists to reach habitats beyond their limits.
Member tickets are $5 and general admission tickets are $10. Light hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be available.
A signing of Heinerth’s book, “Into the Planet,” will immediately follow. Books may be purchased prior at Itinerant Literate Bookstop or online, and a small stock will be available at the event.
