Canadian Seafood for a Healthier Lifestyle
As the son of a fisherman on South Shore of Nova Scotia, I was always surrounded by the best quality seafood.
When I moved to Ontario in 2016, I quickly began to miss that incredible food I grew up on. It was nowhere to be found.
I would beg my father, Larry, a lifelong fisherman, to send me the freshest catch from home. What started as personal orders from Larry soon turned into larger shipments for friends, families, and even strangers from fishermen around the province. Today, I’m proud to say we’ve served hundreds of happy customers across Ontario with sustainable, Canadian-sourced seafood.
The unfortunate truth is, Ontario has become a market where low-quality seafood is easily sold, taking advantage of consumers who have become accustomed to it.
At Larry’s Catch, we aim to change that by sourcing with intention. We don’t just source any fish from anywhere. We seek the highest quality products in the country, so our customers never have to settle for less.
At Larry’s Catch, we believe that high-quality, pure seafood should be accessible to everyone. Our team consists of three young entrepreneurs hailing from the coasts of Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and the rural heart of Ontario. We’re hungry to change the way Canadians think of, experience and enjoy seafood. Feel free to reach out with any questions or comments; we’d love to hear from you.
Editors Note: I ordered some product from Larry’s and was extremely impressed/pleased. This shipped overnight, well packed in dry ice and completely frozen when I received it, approximately mid afternoon the next day. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops and the breaded haddock. I had the scallops which were delicious. The bill was a bit pricey, but the purchase was packed in dry ice with overnight delivery. For one person I will get 10 meals out of the purchase, and that amounts to approximately $10.00 a meal for fresh caught seafood.
