I first started underwater photography in 2003 with a Nikinos V film camera. In 2004 I went digital and started using compact cameras in housings. In 2011 having had enough of life sitting behind a desk I became a scuba instructor and housed my DSLR and trained and started working as an underwater videographer, eventually running my own business in Thailand. After smashing my head in on a motorbike without a helmet - please wear a helmet, you never know when a drugged up idiot will come around the corner on the wrong side of the road - I had a brief sojourn into working as an underwater photographer in the Canaries, before returning to the business in Thailand filming and teaching videography. I am currently having a break from the water caring fro my Mum in Northumbria, where I don't get in the water quite as often, but it does give me time to share a bit of what I've learned in over 1,000 dives with cameras in my hands.8 Articles

My name is Fin, and I am a New Zealand born and bred Kiwi girl. From a young age I had a fascination with all things Ocean, whether it be the Sea, the Beach or Rockpools where I would wander about investigating crabs and anemones. This led to me studying Marine Biology in the tertiary realm which has since taken me to some incredible places for work and play. The places I have worked have been varied and have seen me having to become a guru when it comes to airports, layovers, transits and making the most of spare time. This inspired me to share my adventures, as I can attest to the journey being as much of the fun as the final destination. Afterall, Life's not about the destination, but enjoying the journey. I'd love to hear from anyone interested in working alongside me! Whether as your brand ambassador, guest blogger or columnist. My skill set is based in the Marine biology realm and leads onto Scuba instructing all the way through to professional hotel/voluntourism reviewer, as well as being a social media for business whiz. Please feel free to contact me for further information;7 Articles

World traveler Nancy Washburne decided that after visiting 137 countries around the globe, she wanted to introduce her teenage son to the beauty of her native Michigan. Being an experienced scuba diver who has dived and snorkeled in the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, Truk Lagoon, Palau, Papua, New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, the New Hebrides, Fiji, Grand Cayman, Bonaire, Cozumel, and other Caribbean islands, she felt that Michigan inland lakes would offer a great variety of snorkeling experiences for her family. Little did she know what this exploration was going to bring.7 Articles

Thomas and Susie have been involved in the Scuba Diving Industry for over 10 years travelling the world to work and dive in such far flung places as Honduras, the Canary Islands & Red Sea before finally settling down to a life of fun and laughs in Thailand, where they are both employed by the Siren Fleet of luxury liveaboards. Thomas, as PADI Course Director, heads up the diving operations of the fleet as well as running trips in Indonesia, the Maldives, the Philippines, Palau and Fiji. He’s looking forward to setting up the new operation in Truk Lagoon in 2014 too! Meanwhile Susie, PADI IDCS, is more “office-bound” these days and focusses on the marketing & dive shows, but she still gets to take at least 2 liveaboard trips each year.
