Jonnie first began scuba diving in 2002 while on a family vacation in Cuba completing a resort course and doing one dive with an instructor. It wasn’t until 2005 when Jon took his open water and advanced open water courses in the Cayman Islands. Through the next several years, Jonnie got to dive all over the world as he enjoyed the life of an online poker player for 5 years. Diving destinations included Hawaii, Mexico, Dominican, Cuba, British Virgin Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Greece, Costa Rica, and throughout his home country of Canada. In 2013 Jonnie travelled to Costa Rica and completed his divemaster course with Rocket Frog Divers. Jonnie worked as a divemaster with Rocket Frog Divers and eventually made their website.
Jonnie is now working on a new venture in scuba diving, as he has started to develop a site called ScubaDiveDestinations.com, which is an information and reservation portal for dive shops from around the world. It is with this venture that Jonnie eventually hopes to be able to relocate his family to a warm tropical destination!
