Lucy is a ocean enthusiast, beginning with a love of big fish with sharp teeth as a child, and developing into a career in oceanography as an adult. Living in the vibrant coastal city of Portsmouth in England, Lucy spends much of her time by the sea and volunteers often to reduce plastic polution on the coastline. With an appreciation for the dynamic and ecological nature of the ocean, mixed with knowledge of the vast amount of resources we extract from it, themes of articles will include sustainability, and local and international conservation projects. Lucy's other hobbies include: reading, writing, learning, photography, travelling, sci fi and generally just having fun outdoors.
