The Snake at The Scuba News

International policing organisation Interpol last week issued its first ever Purple Notice, for a fishing vessel involved in illegal fishing. ‘The Snake’ operates in the South Pacific and is linked to numerous illegal fishing activities. To hide from authorities it has changed its name at least 12 times in the last 9 years, while operating under 8 different flags. Do you live near a South Pacific fishing port? Keep an eye out for this vessel and contact Interpol if you spot it.
