The Museum located 9 new shipwrecks on Lake Superior this season and we will discuss their finds, the museum and their mission. The show will be this coming Tuesday at 7PM Central, 8PM Eastern and will be broadcast live on the Great Lakes Shipwreck Research Group. It will be available afterward on the Great Lakes Shipwreck Research YouTube Channel.

Bruce Lynn is the Executive Director of the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, located at Whitefish Point in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula. Bruce started his museum career as an Historical Interpreter at Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island in 1989, and later returned to work full-time for the Mackinac State Historic Parks. After graduating with a degree in American History from the Ohio State University, Lynn was accepted into Eastern Michigan University’s Historic Preservation graduate program where he studied Heritage Interpretation. Before graduation from EMU, Lynn completed an internship at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and developed a real passion for Great Lakes maritime history. In 2015 he co-authored, with award winning Great Lakes Maritime Photographer Chris Winters, the book The Legend Lives On, a richly illustrated meditation on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
