Aggressor Adventures Celebrates 37th Anniversary with Special Customer Offer

Aggressor Adventures, a leading global adventure travel brand, is celebrating its 37th anniversary and looking back proudly on a strong year with gratitude for its loyal customers and staff. Despite the difficult circumstances, the company navigates around the pandemic, not resting on its laurels in 2020.

Looking Back on an Eventful Year

Aggressor Adventures tackled the COVID-19 pandemic with customer first practices. In an effort to provide a safe and healthy return to travel for both their customers and personnel, Aggressor Adventures immediately incorporated pro-active sanitation and training strategies. Additionally, Aggressor worked quickly with staff to create new methods of engaging and building loyalty with its customers. Virtual engagement with customers through a new “Zoom Into Adventure” series, as well as social media campaigns, proved to be extremely valuable. As a result of its focus on customer safety and engagement, customer bookings returned as destinations opened.

“We are grateful for the strong sense of trust we have developed over the years with our loyal customers.  We remain service-driven, staying the course for delivering truly once in-a-lifetime experiences and extraordinary adventures,” notes Wayne Brown, CEO of Aggressor Adventures. “We continue to identify new methods of engaging and building loyalty with our customers. As we look back on the past year, we could not be prouder of what we accomplished, especially given the challenges the industry faced.”

Bold Commitment to Customers and the Environment

As a thank you to customers and understanding the financial burden of the pandemic, Aggressor Adventures is excited to announce a special 37th anniversary promotion starting November 16, 2020 for new reservations with a 37 percent savings. The anniversary special is available for travel from November 19, 2020 through November 19, 2021, on multiple Aggressor Adventures trips. In 2020, Aggressor Adventures® Green the Fleet® program initiated a successful international shoreline clean-up mobilized 170 staff volunteer-hours, covering an estimated 2.55-mile area to  remove 800 pounds of trash from the environment. In 2021, Aggressors’ goal is to empower adventurers everywhere to clean up 3,700 pounds of trash from the world’s shorelines to further prioritize sustainability through community awareness, stewardship, and action. Aggressor invites our fellow divers and explorers to join their efforts in cleaning up local shorelines, waterway and wildlife habitats to reach this international clean-up goal by the end of 2021.

“As global adventurers, we witness first-hand the impact pollution has on our environment, especially in our oceans. It’s our responsibility to change that,” explains Brown. “For the 2021 clean-up, rather than organizing specific sites and to avoid large group gatherings, the company encourages divers, explorers, and ocean lovers everywhere to regularly  to pick up trash at their beach, river, or in their neighborhoods and record their cleanup totals to share with us on social media, so each individual effort is counted in the grand total for the year.”

Investing in the Future

Brown is incredibly excited for the future of the travel industry and Aggressor Adventures. Currently, 2021 Aggressor bookings are at 90 percent occupancy. According to Brown, this foreshadows a tremendous bounce back for the industry and is evidence of the pent up demand for travelers to take part in trips in 2021.

As a commitment to the future, Aggressor Adventures has partnered with Georgia State University’s Cecil B. School of Hospitality for a $3,700 scholarship in 2021 going to a deserving student during the spring 2021 semester.

“This kind of financial commitment is a game changer for one of our hospitality students. Our student body is resilient and committed to their education, but many have struggled financially during the pandemic,” explains Debby Cannon, Director of the Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality. “We could not be more grateful for Aggressor Adventures commitment and trust in our hospitality program. The future of the travel industry is bright with leaders like Wayne Brown paving the way for young minds.”
