Here at The Scuba News and Dive Media we have been working with Friends for Sharks co-founders Kathryn Hodgson and Nicholas Curzon to help raise awareness for the Friends for Sharks cause and we are also one of their official sponsors. They are currently undertaking their 2015 World Tour to help raise awareness of the plight of sharks and marine life in general, by giving talks and seminars around the world. I personally think this is a fantastic cause which is why I made the decision to work with them and have Dive Media and The Scuba News become official sponsors of the tour.
Over the past few months I have got to know Kathryn and Nick quite well and what started as a working partnership has become much more of a friendship. We are in regular contact as they travel the world and I am pleased to announce that Nick “popped the question”while under water this week and asked Kathryn to marry him…and she said yes!
I couldn’t be more pleased I and look forward to being able to celebrate with them at some point this year, somewhere in the world!
