Husband of Ronda Cross sues scuba training organization over death

Calgary woman’s scuba tank contained lethal levels of carbon monoxide, Ronda Cross autopsy reports show

CBC News Calgary is reporting that the husband of a Calgary woman who died while scuba diving in Mexico is suing an international diver training organization, alleging it inadequately teaches divers to protect themselves from carbon monoxide poisoning. Ronda Cross died in March 2012 while scuba diving in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Colin Cross says tests later revealed her scuba tank contained lethal levels of carbon monoxide.

Cross and his San Diego-based lawyer, Joshua Hale, are now suing the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
